The Effects of Different Fertilization Practices in Combination with the Use of PGPR on the Sugar and Amino Acid Content of Asparagus officinalis

The present study examined the effects of different nitrogen (NH4NO3) and potassium (KNO3) fertilization levels in combination with a nitrogen-fixing, plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) inoculation on carbohydrate (CHO), amino acid content, nutrient concentrations (N, P, K) spears root system asparagus plants. No significant differences were indicated between treatments regarding N, K leaves roots asparagus. fields PGPR, no matter type inorganic fertilizer, resulted increased CHO content foliage highest recorded treatment that combined PGPR along KNO3 indicating higher applications acted synergistically added PGPR.
